A Map for 2030

First, remember that leadership is not indicative of position or title but rather personal choice. Becoming a leader is the most crucial choice one can make – it is a decision to step out of darkness into the light.

As an organization committed to actualizing the Global Goals by 2030, our message is to strive, not just try, but strive earnestly and persistently for those goals.

Self-leadership is having a developed sense of who you are, what you can do, where you are going coupled with the ability to influence your communication, emotions and behaviors on the way to getting there. Live your beliefs rather than talk about them. Communicate your beliefs by actions that project a model to others.

We have never needed enlightened leadership as much as we do now. Surely this refrain has been heard throughout the ages, but in times like ours, humankind poses a terrible threat to its own existence as we blindly tear great holes in the life-sustaining fabric of our environment. We can no longer turn to government, however well meaning it may be, or to anyone beyond ourselves, to provide answers for the great problems of our time. And even in turning to ourselves we must go beyond the constant clamor of ego, beyond the tools of logic and reason, to the still, calm place within us, the realm of self-spirituality.

Who am I? Why am I here? What are my gifts? How can I influence our world? Leadership is an evolving journey. The twists and turns lying before us are unpredictable. But the starting point is always the same; becoming clear on what is important to you. What is important to you and what are you willing to do about it? Next comes bringing your answers to fruition.

On a planet challenged on every side with ecological deterioration, everything you achieve must be sustainable, supported by transcendent awareness. This is an essential part of any vision of the future that draws on an underlying universal field of consciousness.

If you find this notion difficult to accept, perhaps you’ll agree that the old way of living on this planet is reaching its limits, and that the time has come to try something new. If you find that by connecting to your spiritual side, you are able to increase the creativity, intelligence, organizing power, and synchronicity in your life and in your larger world, you can choose to credit your spirituality or not. It won’t care, but, those who share the world with you will be grateful, regardless of what terms you use to describe your new way of being.

As an initiative committed to triggering our circles to self-actualize, we think of our organization as a circle of friends growing in different directions, remembering we remain rooted as one. When you strive for your ideals, be prepared to stand alone like a tree, and if you fall on the ground, fall like a seed that grows back to try again.
